You and your business are unique. Therefore you should not settle for an off-the-shelf standardized ESOP document and trust. At AQP, we custom design and individually submit every plan document based upon the unique aspects of your business. Your employee turnover, financial resources and business philosophies are all different and your plan document is no exception.

Tailored to your specific company requirements AQP will provide all of the documentation necessary to design and install an ESOP. These include plan documents, corporate resolutions, opinion letters and employee announcements. AQP prepares the IRS application for a Determination Letter and works directly with the IRS Employee Plans Division on the approval of your plan and trust. AQP guarantees a favorable determination approval or all costs incurred will be refunded.

AQP will also keep you advised of any changes in the laws or regulations which may affect the use or operation of your plan. Unfortunately, an ESOP like other qualified plans is not immune to changes by Congress, the IRS or DOL. Over the years we have updated thousands of plans to current law and regulations. We have the expertise, relationships and experience necessary to effectively communicate these changes to you and your participants.

AQP's plan services also includes employee communication materials, including overviews, case studies and Q&As. At-a-glance these resources will explain the history, background and philosophy of ESOPs. The more detailed Summary Plan Description explains the more technical aspects. In addition, AQP provides representatives with at least 10 years in ESOP experience who will conduct employee meetings for the purpose of communicating the ESOP concept to your employees. We usually recommend conducting two different types of employee meetings, one for management and one for the other employees.
